KOTA KINABALU: Gerakan Kuasa Rakyat Malaysia (G57) has welcomed the decision by the Attorney General’s Department to review the prosecution of organisers involved in the Bangkit Sabahan and Gempur Rasuah rallies held at the Anjung Selera and Menara Kinabalu on new year's eve.
G57主席拿督Zulkarnain Mahdar在周三（2月26日）的一份声明中表示：“重新评估起诉的决定是朝着正确方向迈出的一步，确保正义得到公平伸张。”
然而，G57在支持检讨与抗议有关的案件的同时，也呼吁对被控在集会期间诽谤沙巴州议员敦慕沙阿曼的个人采取法律行动。
Zulkarnain强调，那些被指控侮辱、羞辱和诬告穆萨腐败的人不应该不受惩罚，其中包括活动家Fahmi Reza和马来西亚沙巴大学（UMS）的几名学生。
“他（穆萨）从未被马来西亚任何法庭判犯有腐败罪。在没有法律证据的情况下给他贴上腐败领导人的标签是一种恶意行为，旨在玷污沙巴皇家机构的尊严。”
